Boho style doesn't have to be just for the beach
PHotography by the brilliant breana taylor
The weather has been beautifully the last week in San Francisco which has finally given me the opportunity to break out the summer dresses and matching sets. The thing I love most about this newly acquired set from Vintage Havana is that it looks like a dress without the sizing issues I usually deal with. I have an incredibly long torso, so the waists on most summer dresses tend to hit me at the wrong level which means there isn't much skirt left to cover my -- assets. The beauty of sets is that I can position the pieces at my exact natural waist making the fit -- and length-- for more flattering.

makes this gypsy want to dance....
This was the perfect look for a casual Friday when the only face time I had was a lunch date with Breana Taylor from Brilliantly Bre. I think I may try it again this Sunday for my daydate in Sausalito with the man.

I personally love this blue version so if you want to grab your own I've including the links in the photos below. If you are really obsessed with it, I just realized that Bloomingdale's also carries this style but in their own exclusive version in white. Did I mention that it's currently on sale as well? I picked up these shoes ages ago - when I still wore 5 inch platforms every day - I've included some similar styles in a wide range of prices below. Now these babies sit patiently waiting for a sunny day when I feel the need for especially long limbs. Happy shopping!
